I love a girls’ room that feels sweet now without requiring an entirely new bedroom the minute she gets a little older.

Soft blue walls, crisp white furniture, blush gingham, warm brass, and a few woven details give this room plenty of personality, but the foundation stays really classic. Most of what makes it feel young and playful can easily change later—which is exactly how I like to approach kids’ rooms.

And I think that’s exactly how a child’s bedroom should grow.
