My favorite piece in this room might be the leather chair in the corner.

It’s not technically kids’ furniture, which is exactly why I like it. Navy, warm leather, brass, and a few vintage-inspired details give this bedroom plenty of personality now, but none of the bigger pieces feel like they have an expiration date.

That’s usually my goal with a kids’ room. Let the smaller things be fun and easy to change, and choose furniture you won’t be dying to replace three years from now.
