I love the combination of soft blue-gray and warm neutrals in a bedroom.

It feels calm and comfortable without being boring, and it's a color palette that I don't think will ever go out of style. For this room, I wanted to keep the furniture fairly simple and let the different textures, pretty fabrics, and a few statement pieces do the work. The result is a classic bedroom that feels pulled together but still somewhere you'd actually want to curl up and relax.

I started with a creamy upholstered headboard and layered the bed with soft blue-gray linen bedding, blue patterned pillows, and a simple neutral lumbar pillow.

I've linked a similar find here—the Tilly Upholstered Headboard from Joss & Main, which has that same clean, tailored shape. For the bedding, I love the European Flax Linen Duvet Cover from West Elm in a soft blue-gray, paired with these blue floral throw pillows from Target and the Gray Cotton Slub & Velvet Lumbar Pillow from At Home. The oversized chandelier is definitely one of my favorite parts of the room. I've linked a similar statement piece here—the Tilda Large Chandelier from Neiman Marcus. The gray pinch-pleat drapes soften the windows, while the Chunky Wool Jute Rug in Ivory from Pottery Barn adds plenty of texture without introducing another pattern.

For the furniture, I wanted to stick with light wood tones and simple shapes.

I've linked a similar nightstand here—the Celine 30" One-Drawer Acacia Nightstand from Wayfair. I love the open shelf underneath, and the light finish works so well with the blue-gray bedding. The Nourison 22" Coastal Blue Table Lamps from Target add a little more color to either side of the bed without making everything feel too matched. On the opposite wall, I love the combination of the light wood dresser and the large gold-trimmed mirror. I've linked a similar dresser here—the Celine 6-Drawer Dresser from Wayfair—along with the Sasha Wall Mirror from 1st Stop Bedrooms. A glass vase with a few branches and two of my favorite coffee table books, Live Beautiful by Athena Calderone and Architectural Digest at 100, are simple finishing touches that make the dresser feel complete.

I also wanted to make room for a comfortable little sitting area.

I love the idea of a blue-gray upholstered chair with a patterned pillow to tie it back to the bed. I love the similar Cameron Armchair from Pottery Barn. Next to it, I've linked a similar white lattice side table—the Stella Side Table in Antique White from Pottery Barn. It's such a pretty piece and adds a little texture to the corner. The Ingram Swing Floor Lamp from Target is another favorite find, with its classic brass finish and adjustable arm. At the foot of the bed, I added a cream upholstered bench with bolster pillows for an extra layer of softness. I've linked a similar option here—this upholstered bench from Wayfair. I really love how this room came together. The blue-gray keeps everything feeling calm, while the creamy upholstery, light wood furniture, and brass accents give it that timeless look I always come back to.
