I love a mostly neutral bedroom, but sometimes it needs just a little something to keep it from feeling too neutral.
Blue lamps are one of my favorite ways to bring in color without making a huge commitment. They work beautifully with creamy whites, natural wood, soft patterns, and of course plenty of blue and white.
A Little Blue Goes a Long Way
You don't need a lot of color to make an impact. A pair of blue lamps on the nightstands can be enough to pull the whole room together, especially when the rest of the palette is fairly quiet. I love everything from pale, almost-gray blues to deeper navy and patterned ceramic styles.
Let the Lamps Be the Color
If you're using blue lamps, I usually like keeping the larger pieces in the room fairly simple. An upholstered bed, neutral nightstands, and soft bedding give the blue somewhere to stand out without making the room feel busy. It's an easy way to add personality while still keeping that calm, collected feel.
They Don't Need to Be an Exact Match
The lamps in these rooms are part of the overall design inspiration, so I didn't try to track down exact matches. Instead, I rounded up ten blue lamps I love that could bring a similar look and feel to a bedroom. There’s a mix of shades, shapes, and price points, so you can choose the one that works best with your space.
